THE organisers of Bournemouth Air Festival are promising a star-studded line-up for this year's Night Air at The Piers events.

The Wave 105 stage at Boscombe pier will feature Blue, The Feeling, Stooshe, Lucy Spraggan and Diana Vickers on Friday August 30, and Kodaline, Gabriella Cilmi, Johnny Hates Jazz and Neon Jungle on Saturday August 31.

The event, which is ticketed, will start at 6.45pm each night. Tickets go on sale on Saturday via BH Live, costing £7, and are limited to 5 per household per night.

If you wish to attend both evenings you will need to apply for tickets for both nights.

The Bournemouth Pier stage will feature a line up of some of the country’s best tribute acts and is a free event to attend.

Wave 105 will also be hosting the 'AirZone' - an interactive, 'crystal maze' style game where contestants pit their wits to win prizes.

Jon Brooks, commercial director of Wave 105, said: “As one of the biggest events on the south coast's calendar, we are delighted to be partnering with the Bournemouth Air Festival once again. This year's spectacle is gearing up to be even more exciting and well attended than before and we are looking forward to adding to the anticipation with our big announcements next week.

“So stay tuned to find out what acts we have in store to make this year's Night Air programme better than ever.”

Keith Penny, Wave 105's Event Director, added: “After the huge success of our inaugural Night Air concerts last year at Boscombe Pier, we are delighted to be returning for 2013.

"We're bringing a dozen big name acts with us, a bigger stage and improved sound system, for what promises to be two fantastic nights. We could have sold out twice over last year, so we're anticipating huge demand once more.”
