POOLE is celebrating the first anniversary of the London Olympics with its own sports festival.
On Sunday Poole Park will be filled with a host of different activities to try, showcasing the sporting opportunities that exist across Poole and Bournemouth.
It will be filled with sports clubs offering have-a-go sessions, tasters and demonstrations from 11am to 4pm.
As well as activities ranging from slacklining to kayaking, table tennis to cricket, there will be swimming, diving and water polo available at the nearby Everyone Active pool.
“There will be something for everyone,” said Ross Jones, recreation development officer Borough of Poole.
Visitors need a wristband at £1.50 per person or free to Access to Leisure and Learning cardholders.
