DREAMS really have come true for one little beauty queen, as a four-year-old from Poole has been chosen to compete in the final of a worldwide pageant at Disneyland.
Morgan Bennett from Hamworthy will have the opportunity to turn into a real-life Disney princess when she takes part in the final of the Face Of The Globe pageant.
The adorable tot has already battled it out against hundreds of hopefuls to land a spot at Disneyland and will be the only representative from Dorset.
Her mother Kerry said: “Morgan is a really friendly, happy little girl and she loves posing. “I think she was chosen because she just acted naturally and was her normal mischievous self.”
Morgan and her two sisters, Paige, seven, and Summer, nine, competed in the South West England selection day on July 13 and collectively raised £1,510 for the Rainbow Child Foundation.
The family held a charity day with a bouncy castle, completed a 14-mile sponsored walk from Hamworthy to Wimborne Minster and held a charity auction of clothes and personal items.
Kerry said: “We have nothing left, but the fundraising was completely worth it. “Last year Summer was crowned Miss Charity and the girls are all so supportive of each other.”
The Rainbow Child Foundation helps underprivileged children across the world by providing schools with play pumps, sanitation and HIV awareness programs.
Contestants in the beauty pageant competed for several award titles including Miss Congeniality, Miss Charity, Miss Publicity and Miss People’s Choice.
Morgan was awarded second runner up in the mini and junior category at the south west selection day and will be flying to Disneyland Paris in October for the grand final.
She said: “I’m very happy, proud and excited about going to Disneyland.”
The Face Of The Globe pageant discourages youngsters from wearing make-up and does not include a swimsuit category.
