DORSET boxer Iain Weaver is set to return from his stint in the USA after his scheduled clash with Spaniard Cesar Martinez was cancelled.
Weaver’s father Jay confirmed to the Daily Echo that the bout, set to take place tomorrow, had been called off at late notice.
Weaver junior, 23, has won the first two fights of his professional career against Damian Lawniczak and Karihi Tehei.
Once Weaver returns home, he will take a month off to spend time with friends and family, while also training at the iBox gym in London.
He could then appear at York Hall, London, on October 4.
