TRAFFIC in Ashley Cross is heavy after a car crashed into a traffic light and knocked it over on the junction of Commercial Road and Station Road.
Two ambulance cars and one police vehicle have attended the scene of the incident which occurred just before 2.30pm.
Dorset Police said it was a single vehicle road traffic collision.
A local male driver taken to Poole Hospital as a precautionary measure.
The man was driving a green Mazda Premacy.
The vehicle has now been put on a flat bed truck to be taken away,
