A HORSE bolted through a busy town centre after a collision on Friday evening.
The animal, which was towing a carriage in Swanage’s High Street, fled after a crash with a vehicle.
Although the carriage overturned during the incident, pictured right, no one was injured.
Police, firefighters and paramedics attended after calls at around 7.50pm.
The frightened horse was returned to its owner.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “Firefighters made the scene safe and the ambulance treated two casualties suffering from shock.”
