POLICE have found the missing patient who absconded from a New Forest hospital.
Daniel Rosenthal, who is 58-years-old, is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and is a convicted murderer.
He had been missing from Tatchbury Mount Hospital, Totton, since around 2.30pm on Saturday.
He was last seen when he went for a routine, unsupervised walk around the gardens of the hospital.
Police carried out searches in the hospital, its grounds and the surrounding areas. They confirmed at around midday on Sunday that he had been found.
Daniel had been known to visit various areas of the New Forest and Southampton.
In 1981 he murdered his mother Leah at their home in Hedge End, near Southampton, after he had earlier killed his father Milton in France.
He cut up both bodies in little pieces, his trial heard.
