OUR lead story today tells a shocking tale of a pregnant woman being left by the roadside by an ambulance crew who decided not to treat her.
Yolanda Humphrey claims that she was told she had “enough of a cushion” to protect her following a car crash that she was involved in at 33 weeks pregnant.
For some reason, she did not receive the usual level of courtesy that we expect from members of our emergency services.
We can only hope that this was an off-day for the crew involved and an isolated incident from those men and women who usually do such wonderful work.
