THE line-up has been announced for the annual Party in the Park at Ashley Cross, which this year takes place on Saturday September 7 and 8 . Supporting Wessex Cancer Trust and in association with Meridian Lifts, the event will offer something for everyone and all ages.
Tickets are just £3 for either day or £5 for the weekend with kids under 12 going free. Tickets are available now from The Cow, Patrick’s, The Dancing Grove, Frost & Co in Ashley Cross, Fitness First in Bournemouth and Lighthouse Poole. Gates open at noon each day with the first band hitting the stage at 2pm. Compere and DJ Martyn the Hat will be playing cool tunes in between the live acts with a special guest appearance from the infamous Dame Kitty and Fitness First will be performing a Zumba class for keen, keep fit enthusiasts to join in before the first band, with more to follow throughout the day.
The Saturday line-up includes New Volunteer, Island Glo, Darren Hodson and The Southern Companion, The Frequency and headliners Vida. On Sunday there will be Nick Tatham (The Voice), Empire Affair, The Devil’s Rejects, Jackson 3 Plus Guests, while headlining will be Butcher Blues Foundation.
