MINI music festival Codefest, held by a leading local and national provider of IT solutions, raised £3,000 for Julia’s House children’s hospice.
This is the second year running that the company Codestone, whose technology centre is in Poole, has supported the charity through its event for staff featuring local bands.
“As an established company founded and headquartered in Dorset, Codestone is proud to be a supporter of Julia’s House,” said managing director Jeremy Bucknell.
“We are fully aware that the charity relies on help from the local community, so by hosting Codefest we are pleased that we can raise and donate some much needed funds to help the charity continue the great work it performs.”
Sue Miles, the charity’s business fundraiser said: “We are so grateful to Codestone for choosing to support Julia’s House. “Codefest is a wonderful family event and the £3,000 donated by all the staff, family and friends who came along will pay for 100 hours of care for Dorset children.
“This care gives our families precious time.”
