BUSINESSMAN Karl Baxter has an eye for a bargain. But there must have been a few who thought he had bitten off more than he could chew when he acquired a batch of 5,000 souvenir plates commemorating the arrival of the first Princess of Cambridge.
You wouldn’t have thought there would be many forking out for such an item.
However credit to Karl who has sold 3,800 and is now looking to raise money for children’s charities through the remainder.
It’s a nice gesture and who knows the plates may be worth something in the future.
