WESTOVER Nissan in Bournemouth is hosting its fourth annual Motability event on Sunday, August 18, between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
This year the event will be an ‘Ice Cream Sunday’, with complimentary ice creams, a free–of-charge vehicle wash and vac and a £5 M&S voucher for every Motability member who attends.
The day is an opportunity for anyone entitled to the Government’s Higher Rate Motability Allowance to check out the range of vehicles available from the Wallisdown Road showroom.
Visitors can also discuss potential vehicle adaptations with the dealership’s Motability specialist, Nicola Marriott, and her team.
Nicola hopes to raise awareness of the Motability scheme.
Motability allows people eligible for Higher Rate Mobility Allowance to exchange it (in most cases at no cost at all) for a new vehicle - but it is estimated that only about a third of claimants living in the Bournemouth area choose to do so.
Nicola said: “We started running our Motability days back in 2009 and they’ve proved to be so successful that each one now attracts in excess of 100 people.”
