THE Red Arrows will zoom into Bournemouth Air Festival back at full strength this year – and you can relive all the drama of their past displays in the Daily Echo’s new book.
The book, in association with Castle Cameras, hits the shelves on August 19, and is a must for any flying fan.
The hardback coffee table-style book contains 176 colour pages with hundreds of stunning photographs taken by the Echo’s award-winning snappers over the first five years.
It features the highs and lows of each year, with pictures of the planes and the people who were there.
We look back at each event, from the first in 2008 to the latest in 2012.
Pictured are all the favourites so far – the Red Arrows, Bournemouth-based Sea Vixen, Vulcan, Miss Demeanour, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and many more.
Terry Trevett, Bournemouth Red Arrows Association chairman, said: “When Bournemouth Red Arrows Association was formed in October 1994, little did we expect that our efforts would lead to the inaugural Bournemouth Air Festival in 2008.
“Since that time, much of the success has been recorded by the skills of many gifted photographers and the Festival book is a huge tribute to them and everyone else involved with such a prestigious event.”
The book is yours to own for just £15.95 (£5.85 postage).

THE official Bournemouth Air Festival brochure, sponsored by the Echo, is on sale this week priced at £6, which includes a £1 charity donation, wristband and an access code to keep up to date with changes to the programme.
This year also sees a golden ticket giveaway, which will see some programme-buyers win money-can’t-buy prizes.
The brochure will be available from Daily Echo offices and the TIC at Westover Road, as well as other stockists around the town.
