IT may not be over quite yet. On Friday, there was anger and disbelief when council officer Ian Finlay walked free from court despite admitting downloading over 600 indecent images of children.
That outrage was even more pronounced because Finlay was Bournemouth’s lead officer for online safety for children and therefore was guilty of an astounding abuse of trust and responsibility.
Now MP Tobias Ellwood and members of the public have contacted the Attorney General who acted only last month in the shocking case of Stuart Hall. So justice might be done after all.
