POLICE have released e-fit images of two people they want to speak to after a salon owner’s purse was stolen from a flat in New Milton.
On July 9 the victim received a call from a man purporting to be from Bournemouth police, who said he had her purse, and her cards were stuck in a cash point.
He attempted to get her PIN, but she refused, and later she discovered that her purse had been stolen from a flat above Pampered Beauty Salon in Old Milton Road, at some point between 10am and 4.45pm.
The e-fit images are of a man and woman who were seen at the salon on the day of the burglary.
Police Staff Investigator Caroline Grinter said: “We want to identify the people in the e-fits so we can determine if they can be eliminated from our enquiries.”
Anyone who can identify the pair is asked to ring PSI Grinter at Lymington CID on 101.
