Kris Kristofferson

Grammy award winning songwriter and musician Kris Kristofferson will appear at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre on September 22, as part of his autumn UK tour. The shows will see one of the giants of contemporary American music play tracks from his latest critically acclaimed studio album Feeling Mortal, as well as his back catalogue of classic American songs including For The Good Times, Sunday Morning Coming Down and Help Me Make It Through The Night.

In A Deep Dark Wood Theatre Company

Gobbledegook will take young audiences and their families on a fun and interactive journey through an enchanted forest in this show about a little girl who bravely ventures into a dark and mysterious wood. The young audience help to create a magical world using shadow and light to guide the little girl through her adventure. Faulty Towers The Dining Experience

Basil, Sybil and Manuel are stopping off for a week of a world tour that includes 20 countries, seasons at all the major festivals, a debut at Sydney Opera House and a continuing residency in London’s West End. The show starts as you wait to be seated then hurtles along for two hours of fully immersive, highly improvised and site-specific comedy theatre. With only a third of the show scripted, everything stays fresh as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a three-course meal with a good dollop of mayhem. Party in the Park

For the first time in its 12-year history, Party in the Park at Ashley Cross is being extended to a whole weekend on September 7 and 8. The family-orientated event will offer stalls, bars and entertainment from local bands plus plenty for the children. Wessex Cancer Trust has been chosen as this year’s nominated charity.
