THE BOURNEMOUTH man charged with the murder of Southampton dad Kevin Wyeth made his first crown court appearance Friday afternoon.
Damon Wright appeared at Winchester Crown Court via video link to hear how his case was going to progress through the courts.
The 31-year-old is charged with the murder of 27-year-old Kevin Wyeth, whose body was discovered in an alleyway in Woolston, in the early hours of last Saturday morning.
Wearing a red round necked t-shirt Wright, of no fixed abode, spoke only to confirm his name and to confirm to the judge Guy Boney QC that he had understood everything that had been said.
Prosecutor Nicholas Cotter told the court that the crown would serve papers on October 11 and that the plea and case management hearing would be set for a week later on October 18.
