ALISON Moyet will play Bournemouth Pavilion on her new world tour.
The singer, who shot to fame in the 80s with songs like All Cried Out, arrives in town for a show on Thursday, October 31 as part of a mammoth tour which will see her play 23 dates during that month before heading to America to play San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.
Moyet found fame with keyboard player Vince Clarke in synthpop duo Yazoo in 1982, and she has sold more than 25million records.
She has won two Brit Awards and gained global recognition in 1985, performing at Live Aid with Paul McCartney.
On October 14 she will release Changeling, the third single taken from her album The Minutes.
She said: “I’m entirely made up by the brilliant response to my new album. And now I tour. My best thing ever.”
