Ideally situated in Bournemouth town centre, The Print Room is an elegant, award-winning British brasserie set in the former Daily Echo press room.

Constructed at great cost in 1932 and bursting with original Art Deco features, The Print Room was originally a loud and bustling hive of activity with printers rushing to and fro providing Bournemouth with its news.

Now it is home to this truly unique British Brasserie, Grand Café and Bar providing Bournemouth with the best brasserie in Dorset.

The impressive high ceilings, Swarovski chandeliers, gleaming monochrome tiles and maple wood-panelled, private booths; combined with crushed velvet sofas all make the venue a firm favourite on our Bournemouth map.

As one of only three Bournemouth restaurants listed in The 2014 Good Food Guide, The Print Room offers the best of Dorset produce in every dish.

Head chef Gareth Davies strives for perfection and consistency providing an array of mouth-watering choices, including a selection of British tapas, game, poultry, seafood, pastas, salads, and his Sunday roast is definitely one not to miss. All are individually created to reflect the British brasserie’s sophisticated city style.

From brunches, light lunches and afternoon teas to à la carte dining in the evening, The Print Room serves superb food and drink in truly lavish surroundings.

Gareth Davies said: “This year we have raised the bar even higher and have four different menus including our lunch time, evening, Christmas Day and nine-course festive taster menu, which is complemented by premium wines.

“All produce is locally sourced and the menus have everything from the traditional roast turkey wrapped in streaky bacon and chestnut sausage meat, to herb crusted baked trout and nut roasts with all the trimmings.”

Being the town centre hub for dining and drinking, the venue is absolutely perfect for Christmas and at this time of year The Print Room becomes more magical than ever.

A stunning 18ft Christmas tree takes pride of place next to the velvet sofas, creating a luxurious setting and memorable atmosphere.

Andrew Price, owner of The Print Room, said: “The Print Room is the most magical place at Christmas and I am really looking forward to our busiest time of year.

“I absolutely love seeing The Print Room and Ink Bar in all their Christmas glory and the stunning 18ft Christmas tree is a must-see in itself.”

Bournemouth’s most glamorous venue offers spectacular cocktails, a premium wine list and festive menus all showcasing the award-winning team at the very peak of their talents.
