SIX years after her department abjectly failed Baby Peter Connelly, former Haringey child welfare chief Sharon Shoesmith, above, claims she too is a victim of the child’s killing, and that she hasn’t worked since she was sacked by Ed Balls.

Doesn’t this ghastly woman not understand that most people reckon that sacking HER was the greatest thing Ed Balls has ever done for this country? That’s how much she’s hated.

A child died.

Her department’s job was to ensure his safety. Instead of moaning about her lack of employment, Shoesmith should be on her knees, thanking her lucky stars she hasn’t been permanently confined to the stocks.

Because if I ran this country, she would be!
