Firefighters tackle van fire in Bournemouth
AN ELECTRICAL fault caused a van to catch fire in Moordown this afternoon.
At 12.30pm firefighters from Redhill Park Station were called to Winston Road following reports a van was on fire.
A spokesman from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: “There had been a small fire in the dashboard area caused by an electrical fault which was extinguished using a hose reel.
“It caused severe fire damage in the dashboard area.”
