HIT series Broadchurch is set to return to our screens on January 5, it has been revealed.
Fans are being asked to tweet today using the hashtag #BroadchurchReturns to help reveal the first trailer.
Teaser previews have been shown on ITV over the past few weeks, including a two-part advert showing stars David Tennant and Olivia Colman as their detective characters Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller standing on the top of a cliff.
The official trailer for the series has also now been released.
In David’s voiceover, his character Alec says: “There was a boy, and he was killed. I caught the killer. So why am I still here?”, while Olivia as Ellie says: “There was a boy, and he was killed. What happened then destroyed my family, my job and my town. So what do I do now?”
