POLICE are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for a woman who went missing in the Wareham area on Wednesday.

They are appealing for help to trace missing Samantha Henderson, from the Corfe Castle area.

Samantha Henderson, who is aged 25, was last seen on Wednesday, January 21.

A spokesperson from Purbeck police said: "Samantha was last seen at approximately 4.30pm on Wednesday.

"She is described as a white female, aged 25 years, 5 foot 3 inches tall, of a very slim build and she has blonde hair. She was seen wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans and slippers."

Officers are circulating a photograph of Ms Henderson on social media.

The spokesperson called on Facebook and Twitter users to circulate her image.

Detective Inspector Neil Devoto said: “We know that Samantha has been very upset recently and her family are concerned that she may have come to some harm.

“It’s important that we speak with Samantha so that we can be sure that she is safe and well.

“I urge anyone with any information about Samantha’s whereabouts, or anyone who may have seen someone matching her description, to contact the police on 101.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Samantha’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 22:63.
