BOURNEMOUTH-BASED Clatworthy & Bailey reports the sale of three Dorset and Hampshire hotels.
The three-star Piccadilly Hotel in Bath Road, Bournemouth, which specialises in dancing holidays, has recently been bought by new owners with long-established dancing connections.
Future plans are to expand and develop the hotel further into the dancing world. It was sold at a price in excess of £2 million.
The 40-bedroom Cliff Court Hotel on the West Cliff was sold off an asking figure of £1,385,000.
The Busketts Lawn Hotel near Lyndhurst has been acquired by Gerard and Nina Basset, co-founders of the Hotel Du Vin group.
They are set to invest more than £1 million in refurbishments before the re-opening of the hotel this summer as the Hotel Terra Vina.
It will feature a 60-seater bistro and private rooms for up to 25 guests.
