CHERRIES boss Kevin Bond is today on the verge of completing a double transfer swoop.
Bond is poised to sign Plymouth midfielder Luke Summerfield and extend Saints striker David McGoldrick's stay into a second month.
Summerfield, the 19-year-old son of former Pilgrims assistant boss Kevin Summerfield, is set to join Cherries on a month's loan.
A product of the Home Park youth set-up, he has made 23 appearances in the Championship this season.
McGoldrick's first month at Dean Court expired following Cherries' 1-0 win over Millwall on Saturday but Saints boss George Burley has agreed to an extension.
Providing both players are signed ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline, they would be permitted to extend their stays until the end of the season.
