ARMED raiders attacked Securicor guards and their vehicle at one of the area's busiest superstores last night.
The incident took place at Tesco in Riverside Avenue, Bournemouth, just before midnight.
One of the guards suffered minor injuries according to a statement from Group 4 Securicor, who described the attack as "violent."
It's not known how much money was taken.
Cash-in-transit robbery is on the increase said David Dickinson, chief executive of the British Security Industry Association.
Dorset Police were unable to comment at the time this story posted.
