Faithless, BIC
I was worried - could Faithless even attempt to compare to their last gig at the BIC?
Of course they could!
Once again Faithless completely blew us away with a show so full of energy that sent the audience wild.
The evening started slowly, allowing us to take in the silhouettes of the band, the amazing light show and appreciate each individual instrument, before the music gently escalated into a funky rendition of Insomnia. Then as frontman Maxi Jazz appeared on stage everyone leapt from their seats.
We were treated to all the favourites, including God Is A DJ, Bring My Family Back, Mass Destruction, I Want More and the classic We Come 1.
The vibe was electric, the band was amazing, Maxi Jazz was on top form and the sound was spot on.
At the end of the night Maxi Jazz said there are no fans quite like Faithless fans, and I'd have to agree.
I've never seen an audience reaction quite like the one at a Faithless gig. Completely amazing; what more can I say apart from I can't wait until they return.
