AFTER spending the winter in the garage, thousands of south coast bikers will be taking the wraps off their machines this weekend in preparation for the return of bike night on Poole Quay.

The first Condor Ferries Dream Machines meeting of 2007 takes place on Tuesday, April 3, starting as usual at 6pm.

Open to all ages and styles of motorbikes, trikes and combinations, the popular event regularly attracts over 2,000 riders.

As in previous years, a guest judge will be on hand at each of the next 26 Tuesday evenings to select their personal Bike Of The Night - the honour bringing with it a free cross-channel ticket for a bike and two passengers and an invitation to take part in the Bike Of The Year finale on September 25.

Admission is £1 per bike per night or £5 for a season armband which provides admission to every night.

Armbands are now available from the Poole Tourist office Welcome Centre on Poole Quay (open Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays).
