BOSCOMBE council candidates will be quizzed a special meeting of the community forum next week.
In total, 30 people are standing for election to Bournemouth Council in the Boscombe West and East wards, and all have been invited to the meeting on Thursday, April 23, where they will give a short speech on their plans for the area.
Due to time constraints there will be no formal question and answer session, but residents will be able to meet and quiz candidates after the hustings concludes.
Forum chairman Harry Seccombe said: "This year we have the most candidates making these wards the most hotly contested in Bournemouth.
"Also, last election Boscombe had the poorest turnout at 20 per cent. We are trying to encourage more residents to come out and take part."
For those unable to attend, the meeting will be recorded and made available online at www.boscombeforum.org.uk.
The meeting takes place at King's Park Primary School in Ashley Road at 7pm.
