HUNDREDS of dedicated Cherries supporters have set-off on their journeys to the final match of a dream season.
With AFC Bournemouth all but promoted to the prestigious Premier League, the last match of the season at Charlton is set to be party time for loyal Cherries supporters.
Nine coaches left Kings Park just before 8am this morning, filled with fans, dressed in red and black, ready for today's game.
And pubs and bars around the town are also set to be filled with revellers, keen to celebrate Bournemouth's official promotion to the top-flight.
Karen Coley said: "We've been with them through administration, Fletch's goal at Grimsby and staying up.
"It's been a rollercoaster.
"But I still can't believe this has happened."
Her friend, Jackie Herbert, from Poole, added: "It's just unbelieveable.
"Everybody ignored and said 'that small, sleepy town'.
"Many of the national newspapers didn't even cover our Easter Monday match.
"It just goes to show how you shouldn't underestimate people."
The pair also paid tribute to "all the old boys" - former players - who had got the team to this position.
Father and son, Roger and James Amey, who have supported for 35 years, said they still couldn't take in the fact the team would be playing in the Premier League.
Both at the match on Monday night, James said, he didn't think they were safe until the third goal had been scored against Bolton Wanderers.
"It's the dream", said dad, Roger.
"It's just a dream come true.
"I never thought it would happen.
"I'm just so pleased for Jason and Eddie.
"No matter what happens (next season), Eddie Howe will still be king here."
James added: "I still didn't believe it until we were three nil up.
"It's just not real yet."
Bank Holiday Monday will see Eddie Howe’s squad celebrate with a seafront open top bus parade.
The Premier League-bound stars will begin at Boscombe Pier at 11am before making their way along the promenade to finish just east of Bournemouth Pier.
Fans are being encouraged to arrive early and make use of all the vantage points.
Cherries will be hoping they have even more to celebrate after today’s game against Charlton, which could yet see them beat first-placed Watford to the title.
