WHAT'S this? Cows grazing the cricket pitch at Poole Park?

That was the sight that confronted visitors to the this website on Sunday.

We reported that "cattleman" Chris Bullen had introduced the heifers to keep the grass down after most of the grazing Canada geese flew away.

But readers who consulted at the calendar - or who unscrambled the name "Rolf Paoli" given to a park user in the story - will have spotted it as an April Fool wheeze.
