WITH Dorset going from strength to strength, garnering investment from global enterprises as well as growth in digital and creative sectors, the Dorset Business Awards (DBAs) will see in its 21st year showcasing the very best in business from across the region.
The awards will feature exciting newcomers that emphasise the vibrant and evolving economy of the south. From the Entrepreneur of the Year Award to Business Engagement with the Community Award, the DBAs give businesses, both large and small, the chance to be acknowledged by the business community. Year on year the awards continue to deliver a gala evening that simultaneously recognises enterprising talent as it dazzles and entertains the local business community, confirming its place on the social calendar.
For five years, Nuffield Health has sponsored the Nuffield Health Excellence in Customer Service Award. As hospital director, I believe that outstanding customer service is at the heart of every successful business, with a true focus on delivering the best service possible.
In judging the award, we are looking for businesses that have listened and responded to customers’ needs in order to gain a thorough understanding of their businesses’ customer base. Customers should be involved in every step of the business, from staff training to communication and management. So if you’re reading this column, and you’re feeling synergies between your business and the qualities we’re looking for – don’t hesitate to enter! The Dorset Business Awards are now open for entry via dorsetbusinessawards.co.uk
