Traffic lights at the busy Mountbatten roundabout have been fixed after encountering problems for the third day running.
Lights were stuck on red at the A3049 Wallisdown Road junction with the A348 Ringwood Road/Francis Avenue junction causing peak time traffic to build up in all directions, including through Canford Heath, delaying commuters runs to work.
Problems first arose on Tuesday and Borough of Poole said engineers from Siemens were on site working on the problem and had installed a fixed timer while they investigate the issue.
A spokesperson for Borough of Poole said at 2.45pm today the fault has been fixed and there was an issue with vehicle detection on the lights.
John Rice, engineering manager for Borough of Poole, said: "We would like to thank residents for their patience while we worked to solve the issue."
