THIS is an exclusive glimpse at the Bournemouth-made horror film that provides a gruesome take on binge drinking culture.
K-Shop, from local writer-director Dan Pringle, tells the story of a kebab shop owner who becomes a modern day Sweeney Todd by turning drunken and abusive customers into food.
The movie was shot mostly around St Peter’s Road and much of the drunken behaviour in the film was candid footage taken in Bournemouth.
Made by local company White Lantern films and produced by Adam Merrifield, K-Shop will receive a limited theatrical release early in July, including some local screens. It will be released soon afterwards on digital platforms and on disc.
Watch the Echo for more on the film ahead of its release.
