Overturned vehicle backs up traffic on A31
AN overturned vehicle caused long delays in the New Forest earlier today.
Police were called at 8.35am to reports of a vehicle that had crashed on the A31 at Stoney Cross.
However there were no reported injuries and the driver was out of the vehicle when emergency services arrived.
The only damage was reportedly to trees off the carriageway.
One lane was closed westbound and a recovery vehicle requested.
Firefighters and paramedics had been called but were later stood down.
