Monster Trucks, supercars and military vehicles are set to roar back into town next week when the Wheels Festival returns.
The event, now in its third year, takes place between Friday, June 3 and Sunday, June 5, with a whole host of family-friendly attractions taking place throughout the town.
Supercars will return to the BIC, as well as a collection of vintage cars in The Square, with freewheel stunts taking place at Pier Approach.
While the popular Monster Trucks will be wowing the crowds with their car crushing antics on the beach at East Cliff.
Temporary speed limits of 80 miles per hour will be in place in East Overcliff Drive from the eastern junction with Manor Road to the junction with Meyrick Road for the duration of the festival.
East Cliff is currently closed following a major landslip in April which saw the toilets, cliff lift and path destroyed.
A clean-up operation is ongoing but the council has said that the site will be cleared in time for the Wheels Festival.
Speaking earlier this week, Gary Powell, Head of Traffic, Engineering and Major Projects, said: "A major operation to clean up the site of the East Cliff land slip is on schedule and it is our intention to have the site cleared within the next couple of days ahead of the Wheels Festival.
Motorbikes, karts, historic Formula 1 cars and supercars will be racing along the road.
A giant wheel standing at 33m tall offering 'stunning birds-eye views over the seafront and across the town' will be in place in the Triangle throughout the event until June 5.
The wheel is open from 10am to 10pm every day.
New for this year will be the 2016 BXUK British Beachcross Championship, an international race series for solo and quad bike teams and riders taking place next to Boscombe Pier.
In another Wheels debut, there will be more motorbike tricks and trials on the beach with displays from the Xtreme Stunt Team.
Families can also enjoy a funfair and entertainment in the Lower Gardens.
We'll be bringing you live coverage, pictures, video and more next week.
