A new stationery store is set to set to open its doors in Bournemouth.
Stationery and officer supplier Smiggle have submitted a planning application for a new shopfront at 17-19 Old Christchurch Road.
The plans were submitted on May 25.
The unit is located between Accessorize and Office.
Smiggle is an Australian-based retail store that sells stationery and related accessories and was founded in Melbourne in 2003.
On the website, Smiggle is described as "the ultimate creators of colourful, fun, fashion-forward stationery and office supplies".
As well as pens and pencils it sells lunch boxes, notebooks, clocks and party bags.
The chain has stores across Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
It has more than 50 branches across the UK including Winchester, Reading, Bristol, Brighton, Leeds and Newcastle.
Other branches are due to open this month in Canterbury, Bolton, Bradford and Bury.
There is no suggestion as to when the Bournemouth store will open.
