A STUDENT from Bournemouth claims he has found proof of a ghostly presence at what is said to be one of Dorset’s most haunted spots.
Shaun Lovett, 19, paid a midnight visit with friends to Knowlton Church to investigate rumours of paranormal activity at the ruined medieval church, which is on the outskirts of Wimborne.
While there, he took some video footage with friends Brooke Sharp, Luke Matthews, and Matt De-Kment as they walked around the historical site.
Although he didn’t detect any ghostlike goings-on while there, when Shaun looked back at his footage he was shocked to see what appeared to be two faces looking out of one of the church windows.

He said: “I scrolled back through the video, frame by frame, and there was a clear face of a man or a boy looking straight at us.
“I said to my brother, ‘oh my God, you won’t believe what I’ve just found’.
“We looked to the left and it almost looked like a little girl, with more detailed facial features, looking out of the window too.
“I’ve heard stories about Knowlton Church, but this was so strange. My friends were sceptical and didn’t believe we’d see anything but now they believe there was something there.”
Shaun added he wasn’t sure he wanted to return to Knowlton after his experience but was eager to check out more places that are said to be haunted, like Badbury Rings.
