'Slight injuries' following two-car crash
PARAMEDICS and police were called to a two-car crash earlier today.
The incident in Southbourne occurred just before 11am and resulted in 'slight injuries' for some of those involved.
A blue Mazda and a blue Volkswagen - both registered to separate addresses in Bournemouth - were involved in the collision at the junction of Stamford Road and Burleigh Road.
The extent of injuries suffered are not yet known but are believed to be serious.
Officials from the local authority were also called as a lamppost was damaged in the incident.
