Fire crews rescued an unconscious woman from a fire in a flat in Poole this morning.
Firefighters forced their way into the ground floor flat in Norton Way shortly just after 10am.
According to a spokesman from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service it appeared the fire started in a grill pan which had been left on.
“A woman was found in the flat unconscious and was carried to safety,” she added.
“It is not known whether she was unconscious as a result of the fire.”
