POLICE are appealing for witnesses after burglars stole £620 from a restaurant.
Hampshire Police said that the burglary was believed to have taken place at 6.19am on Sunday, August 14, when three offenders forced entry into The Forage Restaurant on the High Street.
Once inside, they searched the office and took a small safe which containing £500 cash and a drawer containing approximately £120 in staff tips.
PC Benjamin Collins has asked that anybody who knows the two men pictured in CCTV images released by the force to get in touch.
Witnesses and anyone with information should contact PC Collins at Lyndhurst police station by calling 101 or ring the free and anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
