SCORES of bus users expressed their confusion over the new routes introduced by Yellow Buses yesterday (JAN15).
The company has introduced eight new routes to its services following extensive research into passenger usage.
However, some people took to social media to criticise the lack of online support as they looked to find what route their journeys would take following the changed system on Sunday.
One person also pointed out that the old route map, dating from October last year, was still on the Yellow Buses website yesterday afternoon.
Paul Wren, commercial director of Yellow Buses, said: “Our team, including staff responsible for social media, were at bus stops yesterday, handing out timetables, answering questions from passengers and offering help and assistance, where required.
"The response I’ve received from customers has been very good.
"Maps relating to our previous network were correct up to midnight on Saturday, January 14, and will be deleted from our website as soon as possible."
The firm has added new early morning and late night services to help shift workers in key locations, including Bournemouth and Poole town centres and Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
