FIREFIGHTERS were called 30 times after three cars were seen ablaze in Poole.
Two crews from Poole were called to Lagland Street at 2.10am yesterday where the three vehicles were alight.
The crews used three breathing apparatus, one main line and a hose of compressed air foam to tackle the fires.
A red Peugeot 206, registered to a woman from Poole, a blue Mitsubishi Shogun, registered to a man from Poole and a red Nissan Micra, registered to a man from Poole were involved.
"It looks as though it started with the Peugeot and then spread to the other two vehicles," a spokesman for the fire service said.
A silver Rover, registered to a man from Poole, was also damaged as a result of the fire when one of the windows smashed.
A spokesman for the police said: "An investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire and damage. Any witnesses are asked to contact Dorset Police quoting incident number 3:27."
