A STORE at Castlepoint Shopping Park closed it doors for the final time on Saturday as it continues its search for a new home in Bournemouth.
The closure of the Game store comes five years after the video game retailer entered administration, shutting down two stores on Bournemouth’s Commercial Road and 277 stores across the UK and Ireland.
The search for a new location is ongoing and staff working at the Castlepoint store will now be transferred to outlets in Boscombe and Poole in the interim.
The store’s deputy manager, Hannah said: “We have to leave as the lease is up, but it’s certainly a shame to leave Castlepoint so soon.
“We are currently searching for a unit in Bournemouth but we have no idea where that will be as of yet.
“We’re still on the look out for a new home.”
