ONCE more Cllr Eades is spouting off to the Echo regarding a subject about which he either knows very little, or is deliberately trying to stir up fear without any justification.
He suggests that Bournemouth and Poole residents are likely to see Council Tax hikes of 10% or more in 2019 as we form a conurbation-wide Council. As a Member of the cross-borough Group looking at the subject of Council Tax, I do not feel I am breaching any confidentiality in reassuring residents that none of the options under consideration include anything like this.
It is time for Cllr Eades to learn that residents are not well served by him spreading misinformation to grab a few headlines.
