Fire crews have been called after a camper van caught fire on the A31 near Ashley Heath.
Firefighters from Ferndown and Ringwood were called to the vehicle fire on the eastbound carriageway of the A31 at 11.42am.
On arrival, crews found one camper van well alight with a quantity of fuel leaking over the carriageway.
Crews used one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire and highways attended to deal with the fuel spill.
The incident is causing some delays.
