FIVE celebs have been camping in Dorset for a new TV series.
The group have been trying their hand at roughing it (up to a point) at the Burnbake Campsite near Corfe Castle.
The intrepid five includes impressionist Bobby Davro, former Eastenders actors Michelle Collins and Joe Swash, singer Cheryl Baker, and comedian Stephen Bailey.
The show is set to air in January.
The celebs have been building their own tents, sleeping under the stars in tipis, cooking outdoors and learning bushcraft.
But to sweeten the pill they also spent a couple of nights in one of Burnbake’s luxury forest lodges - partly to celebrate Bobby’s 60th birthday.
“The lodges are fantastic,” said Bobby. “They are nicer than my own home. We have had a great time here.”
Eurovision Song Contest winner Cheryl added: “It’s such a beautiful place. I have had so much fun with these guys and seeing Corfe Castle up on the hill was amazing.”
The five were also out and about in the Purbeck, enjoying gin tasting and a ride on the Swanage Railway.
Other guests on the campsite were able to watch the antics of cast and crew and chat with them.
Burnbake’s general manager, Chris Wyburgh, said: “It has been delightful to have the celebs here. They have been good sports and we are really looking forward to seeing the series next year. Some of our members of staff may even have cameo roles!”
