THE Daily Echo and Royal Caribbean are delighted to announce that we are one step closer to finding the lucky family from the south to become the Royal Caribbean ‘Insta Family’ to scoop themselves an amazing seven-night cruise around the Caribbean and appear in Royal Caribbean marketing and promotional activity in 2019.
Readers submitted 30 second videos on Instagram telling us why they should win the prize and what it would mean for them to experience a Royal Caribbean holiday.
Our panel of judges watched the videos to determine their top three families’ entries to go forward to stage two of the competition.
The three families that will take part in stage two of the competition and spend the day on Independence of the Seas during October half-term, experiencing all that cruise life has to offer, recording their day and showing us what they feel makes a cruise holiday special are:
- The Donnarummas from Southampton.
- The Harmans from Bournemouth.
- The Crosswells from Southampton.
The judges will then select an overall prize winner from the three videos created onboard who will set sail on Harmony of the Seas, on 17th-24th February (2019), on a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise which encompasses a round trip from Fort Lauderdale (Florida) visiting Philipsburg, St. Maarten – San Juan, Puerto Rico – Labadee, Haiti.
The winning family will enjoy the very best of one of Royal Caribbean’s favourite ships – all in one place onboard Harmony of the Seas. The fun-seeking family looking for the perfect getaway, will find the very best of Royal Caribbean here. They will watch robots mix their cocktails at the incredible Bionic Bar, or delight their taste buds with an amazing choice of dining experiences.
Harmony of the Seas brings with it a host of thrilling rides including the Ultimate Abyss (the tallest slide at sea with a 10 storey drop) and The Perfect Storm – a trio of water slides.
After all the excitement the winner will end their day by snuggling up in a spacious ocean view room. Whatever they do, there’ll be an adventure waiting around every corner!
