The Somerford Beefeater restaurant and Premier Inn in Christchurch
PLANS have been submitted to open a new coffee shop with a drive-through facility in Christchurch.
The proposals to build a new Costa Coffee in the car park at The Somerford Beefeater and Premier Inn have been submitted to Christchurch Borough Council.
If approved, the shop will operate from 5.30am to 10.30pm, seven days a week.
It is estimated the store would provide a total of 18 full/part time jobs with flexible shifts.
The development would result in a net loss of 23 car parking spaces, leaving 152 spaces, at the site in Somerford Road.
