Around 100 fire fighters battled a large heath fire near Swanage overnight.
15 fire crews, six Land Rovers and two water carriers tackled the blaze on Rempstone Heath.
Heavy rain helped to extinguish the fire, which started just before midnight.
Firefighters remain on scene this morning.
1/2 Just before midnight last night both appliances and our Land Rover were mobilised to reports of a large fire in Rempstone Forest.
